We have no adoptable animals currently, but kitten season is here. We’re expecting to have kittens ready for adoption in about 2 to 4 weeks, so make sure to check back.
Did you know that we welcome volunteers at the shelter to help socialize our animals and prepare them for adoption. No appointment is needed during visiting hours, Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteers can spend time sitting with, playing with and petting the animals to help them become more comfortable and confident around people. Visits may last up to 30 minutes, and we ask that children under 16 be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We are sorry to inform you that we will be taking a hiatus from the nail clinic for a while. However, the Council on Aging in Oak Buffs hosts a nail clinic twice a month by appointment only. Call 508-693-4509, ext. 3 and ask for Rose Cogliano.
