I loved the rain on Sunday. It was a great time to sit back with a light blanket and lay back in the easy chair and pick a great movie or watch the football games and relax. Plus, the plants were happy and it washed a lot of dust off the cars.
Happy Birthday to all who celebrated their day this past week. Big balloons go out to all those students who celebrated their day. All bets are on for when I get to the school and get the list.
Fall is in the air and things are changing. The kids are back in school and the air is cooler at night for better sleeping. Going to the Stop & Shop still takes longer but not because of crowded aisles, rather it is because you are seeing friends and catching up.
The butter is not as soft, it is time to start thinking about filling the oil tank, the AC is off and windows are open, there are a few leaves on the ground, the Derby is now under way, it is wedding season on the Island, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy started their new season, there are parking spaces in town, it is a little darker in the morning, so it is a little harder to get up, it is almost soup time, you don’t have to water the plants every day, the pets are beginning to shed and they are frisky.
So, yes things are changing but only for the best.
