David B. Alger of Chappaquiddick and Bonnie Baxter of Wellesley were married at his historic family home, Menaca, built in 1910 by his great-grandfather, on August 21.
A reception followed the 5 p.m. ceremony at the Chappaquiddick Beach Club.
The wedding party included Bonnie’s son, Jason Blackstone, daughter, Rebecca Baxter Bard, and four grandchildren, Zoe Baxter, Max Bard, Elena and Emily Blackstone.
In love in their 20s, after decades apart, the couple will be honeymooning in Tuscany this fall.
