I am giving you a heads up in case you will be off-Island on our first week of November. There will be a reptile exposition at the Doubletree Hotel in Manchester on Sunday, Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please do not bring any of your own reptiles. I have many friends interested in this annual event. Children under six get in free. There are staggered ticket prices for older children, seniors and veterans.
My gifted writer/artist friend Timothy Thomas has his new book out. Snowy’s Edgartown Adventure, based on the true story of a our local pig Snowdrop who had escaped, is available. If you want an autographed copy, message Timothy. Otherwise check our bookstores.
Need I remind you to fall back on your clocks this weekend?
