Our young citizens, the Cronig Brothers, have taken the store just vacated by the Alleys who have moved to Oak Bluffs.

From the March 21, 1918 edition of the Vineyard Gazette:

Mr. William Guerin of New York has purchased the H. F. Castello residence, near Tashmoo Inn and Mr. and Mrs. Castello will probably take a house in the centre of the town, if such can be rented. A most profitable summer is looked forward to by Mr. Castello and others interested in real estate, as there is a greater demand than usual for houses and stores. The Cronig Bros. have rented another of Mr. C’s row of stores on Main St. for enlargement of their present place.
