The Tick Center at Martha’s Vineyard Medical is hosting a new mindfulness and stress management group program beginning Wednesday, Oct. 14 and continuing for eight weeks.

The program will be led by Vineyard-based psychologies Ruth Folchman, and aims to help patients living with alpha-gal syndrome, chronic Lyme disease and other persistent tick-borne health conditions through stress-management and mindfulness skills.

Ms. Folchman will be guiding patients with tools for managing the stress, anxiety and disruption that come with a chronic tick-borne health condition.
