Services for David Chesley Maddox, who died on March 18 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis after fighting a long illness, will be on Saturday, April 11.
Services begin at 11 a.m. at the Chapman Funeral Home, 56 Edgartown Road, Oak Bluffs, officiated by Rev. Stephen Harding. There will be a sharing of memories at noon.
Burial is to follow at Oak Grove cemetery in Vineyard Haven. Guests are then invited to a celebration of life at the Portuguese American Club, 137 Vineyard avenue, Oak Bluffs, from 1:30 to 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Martha’s Vineyard Museum, the Martha’s Vineyard Touchdown Club or the United States Luge Association.
