Louise Fontaine Clough, of Vineyard Haven, died in hospice care at home from Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease. She was 78.
Born in Boston, Louise was a health care professional all her working life. After retiring to the Vineyard she was active in Island Health Council, Vineyard Village at Home, Healthy Aging MV, Island Community Chorus as well as the Tisbury finance committee and other committees.
She is survived by her husband Marston, her sister and brother and many beloved nephews and nieces and grand nephews and nieces.
Friends may choose to honor her life by volunteering or making a contribution to a Vineyard nonprofit.

Louise was a lovely friend and neighbor, both in Southborough and Vineyard Haven. She was inspirational to our family at many Sullivan 5Ks. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Marston.
