Just to be clear, the production company of The Real Housewives of New York, trash TV, just my opinion, did not obtain permission to film or use Lookout Tavern’s name or likeness under any circumstances. No one contacted me nor did I or any of my staff members speak with them or give them permission. As it is, Lookout Tavern is now associated with them by default.
Lookout Tavern does not need this type of unrealistic fake exposure. My customer bases are real people who are unpretentious. It’s too bad they misrepresented themselves and led the selectboard on, that one of the popular businesses in town were on board.
I, for one, as a resident and former selectman, think our town deserves better representation than being used for this type of fake production. Please know the welcome mat is not out for The Real Housewives of New York production as a whole, at any one of my entities.
