I agree with Peter Wharton about the importance of the Martha’s Vineyard Commission in ensuring that growth on the Island is balanced. However, I was struck by his claim that “Martha’s Vineyard is not just another community.”
Surely, other communities feel the same way and deserve the same kind of protection that the commission provides for the Vineyard. If you catch my drift.
