The League of Women Voters hosts the annual Black History Month Breakfast at Howes House in West Tisbury on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 9 a.m. Island resident and commentator Shelley Christiansen will present This Harmonious Island, Warts and All. Ms. Christiansen will explore the Vineyard’s history of race relations.
