Construction is scheduled to begin this week on a new liquor store near the airport.

Brion McGroarty, who has operated Town Provisions in downtown Edgartown for 23 years, plans to move the store to a new 2,700 square foot building that will be an addition to the Flatbread Company, a family pizza restaurant on Airport Road.

Rendata Kinaki and Diogo Nascimento of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of a daughter, Maya Batista Nascimento, born on April 20 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Maya weighed 6 pounds at birth and joins big brother, Noah.

Olivia Florentina Saloparu and Robson Gomes Lopes of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of a daughter, Alessandra Gomes Lopes, born on April 16 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Alessandra weighed 8 pounds, 3.3 ounces at birth.

Corey Marolf and Calvin Kaeka of Edgartown announce the birth of a son, Riley Alika Kaeka, born on April 17 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Riley weighed 7 pounds, 8.3 ounces at birth.

Abigail and Ryan Dillon of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of a son, Daygen Rye Dillon, born on April 17 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Daygen weighed 7 pounds at birth.

Michelliny Chaves and Alexandre Passamai Della of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of a son, Arthur Eugenio Chaves Passamai Della, born on April 18 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Arthur weighed 6 pounds, 8.3 ounces at birth and joins big sisters, Reyna and Ana Luisa.
