Robert V. Hammett of Oak Bluffs and Deborah Hammett are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Emily to Chase Stormer.

Wednesday, April 16 marks the 62nd anniversary of the publication of Martin Luther King’s Letter from a Birmingham Jail.

Given the current divisions in America, this patriotic letter takes on particular significance. I would urge everyone to read or re-read this letter.

It is spring, and we can all go outside and enjoy this important shower. The time to look for meteors at their peak is Monday night and well into the early hours of Tuesday morning. This is a popular shower if only for the convenience of better night temperatures.
