Wonderful
Harry Seymour’s writing ( which is a ekphrastic poem ) and his art set a tone of hope in the midst of the final quarter of the living continuum of life. This is especially true for Harry’s work because he writes – that the fallen leaf never really dies. This is so true because Shakespeare told us – that – “ So long as men can breathe or eyes can see, So long lives this and this give life to thee. “
It is an exceptional combination of art and poetry coming from the soul of a very gifted and talented man .
Redemptive!!!
Harry never fails to give us art and insightful words to ponder and reflect on. So talented!
Harry, you are a treasure! God blessed us with you!
Lovely poem, captures the essence of winter and old age approaching.
But, remember there is always a vacation to warmer places to cheer you up!
Strikes a chord.
The multi-talented Harry Seymour has nailed it, and so very beautifully❣️ Having recently joined the Fourth Quarter ranks myself, I identify strongly with this piece. What a very fine pairing, photo and verse, to amplify this poetic musing. ❤️❤️❤️
Harry, oh Harry you are always on target with both your art and poetry! I am so pleased to have you as a friend. You have such a strange golf swing but always a joy to be with. Happy Holidays and remember several games become more interesting in the fourth quarter!!
