A new executive director takes the helm at the Permanent Endowment Fund for Martha’s Vineyard this week.

MVYouth, a new community fund established this summer to benefit children, teens and young adults on Martha’s Vineyard, will host an information session about its education scholarship program on Thursday, Oct. 16.

Bella the puppeteer has exchanged the stage for some crayons. Her new activity coloring book for children is called Arakataka and it is a take off on her puppet show.

Lanny McDowell took a break from painting in 2007 to focus on his bird photography, which appears in a variety of publications and videos.
