All paleobiologists take note: National Fossil Day is nearly here.
The Oak Bluffs library hosts a celebration of history, fossils and earth science from 4 to 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16. This free event is hosted by the Vineyard Haven-based Marine & Paleobiological Research Institute and the library in partnership with the National Park Service.
The event is for all ages and features student presenters as well as several guests, including Dr. Fred Hotchkiss from the MPRI.
