Mary Poppins opened Wednesday evening at the Performing Arts Center. The production by the Island Theatre Workshop includes spectacular scenery, big musical numbers, appealing child actors and an adorable dog.

I will say the plants and ground are screaming for rain and I hope we get some soon.
