Men from across the Island Saturday stood atop the Vineyard Haven seawall as part of an annual traditional to raise awareness around domestic and sexual violence. 

Parents, children, dogs and Islanders of all ages congregated in Ocean park Saturday morning to take part in the CONNECT to End Violence walk to raise awareness around sexual assault.

Ladyfest, a music festival that benefits an Island domestic violence prevention program, received Oak Bluffs select board approval after an organizer promised to keep the festival smaller than years past.
