Even as Martha’s Vineyard vaccination rates continue to climb, Island Covid-19 case rates refuse to relent, pushing hospital and public health officials to urge vaccinations.
In a pre-summer jolt, Gov. Charlie Baker announced Monday that he would fast-track the state reopening process by lifting all Covid-19 restrictions before Memorial Day.
Vaccination numbers inched up a little more over the weekend as a mobile vaccination bus began making rounds. The bus will be on the Island through Wednesday this week.
The free vaccine bus will be at Church Street in Edgartown until 11:30 a.m. before moving elsewhere.
