The Massachusetts School Building Authority approval is the first state-supported step toward replacing or overhauling the aging school.
Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School officials said the school has been recommended for acceptance into the Massachusetts School Building Authority’s highly competitive grant program.
With a final vote expected soon on where to site a new Tisbury School, town residents will have a final chance to weigh in at a public forum tomorrow. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the school gymnasium.
