2020

Islanders are set to vote in two historic town meetings and one town election in their own version of super Tuesday today, as West Tisbury and Aquinnah look to certify budgets while Tisbury decides a three-way race for a seat on its select board. Polls are open in Tisbury from noon to 8 p.m.

Tisbury voters gave a standing ovation to their retiring fire chief and backed a $6.4 million sewer expansion at their annual town meeting Saturday.

Tisbury will convene its annual town meeting under a tent at the town elementary school, beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday. Face coverings are required.

The Tisbury annual town meeting is set for Saturday, June 13, selectmen confirmed Tuesday.
