The West Tisbury select board this week scheduled a June 13 special town meeting to reconsider the regional high school operating budget.
When Aquinnah voters convene next week for the Island’s final annual town meeting, they will weigh funding for town building repairs, proposals to make the town more energy efficient and a plan to raise the town’s short-term rental tax.
Chilmark voters will pick a new select board member today in the town’s annual election and Aquinnah residents will weigh in on a $2 million regional high school building feasibility study tonight at a special town meeting.
Following in West Tisbury’s footsteps, Chilmark amended its share of the regional high school budget from $1.06 million to zero.
Tisbury’s town meetings begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Martha’s Vineyard Performing Arts Center in Oak Bluffs.
The 27-article town meeting will take place Monday at 7 p.m. at the Chilmark Community Center, with a quorum of 25 voters.
