Olivia Roberta Gately and Michael Patrick Gately, of West Tisbury, announce the birth of a son, Michael Patrick Gately 3rd, born on Feb. 8 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Michael weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces at birth.

Nomination papers to run for elected office in several Island towns are available at their respective town halls, with the first submission deadlines coming up later this month.

We are happy to report that calico kitty, Dee Dee, has found her forever home and her adoption has been finalized.
