In a little over two years, Jennifer Coor has created more than 500 reusable bags for the Chicken Alley Thrift Shop. The bags are used to carry purchases, a creative and recyclable alternative to plastic bags.

2018

As always, the annual Chicken Alley Thrift Shop Art and Collectibles sale attracted a savvy crowd .

2017

The queue began forming at 6:30 a.m. Sunday for the annual Chicken Alley Thrift Shop Art and Collectibles Sale. By most accounts, the sale this year did not disappoint.

2015

The Chicken Alley Thrift Shop will be closed Friday, Jan. 23 to Saturday, Feb. 7 for building maintenance. Leading up to the closing date, the shop will not be accepting donations and all items are being drastically discounted.

On the evening of Feb. 7 there will be a re-opening party free to the community to display the fresh space. Live music, DJ’s, and dancing the Chicken Alley strut.

2013

The Chicken Alley Thrift Shop of Martha’s Vineyard Community Services is throwing a Halloween party on Oct. 31 beginning at 9 p.m. at Dreamland in Oak Bluffs. Tickets are $15 at the door, $10 in advance and proceeds benefit community services.

Music will be provided by DJ Pretty Ninja, Teo-reidy and Antler Boy and there will be prizes for costumes.

Martha’s Vineyard Community Services’ Chicken Alley Thrift Shop would like to thank the Troy Neuenburg and the Sand Bar in Oak Bluffs, Deejay Ricky Prime and Dukes County Love Affair (DCLA) for the very successful and fabulous good time had by all at the Mad Men party to benefit Community Services last Friday night.
