The Martha’s Vineyard Hospital reported another coronavirus case on Thursday morning, marking the eighth new patient this month as officials noted an uptick in cases.

TestMV reported three new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday and Quest Diagnostics announced faster turnaround times for testing sites nationwide, including the Vineyard.

New data released by the state Department of Public Health has designated all six of the Vineyard towns as low risk for the transmission of Covid-19.
