Ava Stearns began her journey as an equestrian while growing up in Chilmark. Now she is decorated on the national level, riding for Auburn University. The team competes for the National Collegiate Equestrian Association Championship, beginning today.

The Fall Fuzzy Horse Show arrives at the Agricultural Hall grounds on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Aubrey Holmes was named champion and Abigail Gilly reserve champion in the walk/trot (youngsters) category of the Martha’s Vineyard Horse Council’s spring show.
