With an Oct. 1 deadline fast approaching, Chappaquiddick is nearing the goal for phase one of the small island’s quest to get cable and internet service.

Chilmark Town Column: Sept. 6

Chilmark has made it through another busy August. Folks in business celebrated on Tuesday by taking the day off! Several of the town shops closed for the day — a steamy gray day it was — to enjoy a moment of rest. Most businesses in town will remain open into the month of September. I will provide a list of closing dates next week.
