Islanders needing help with the rent during the pandemic emergency are getting some relief, thanks to a joint program begun this month.

West Tisbury selectmen have set June 23 at the date for the annual town meeting, which will be held this year in the Oak Bluffs Tabernacle.

Masks or face coverings are now required in most public places indoors and out on the Vineyard. But there is one place where they are conspicuously not required.
