I am writing to thank the West Tisbury voters for passing, with a bit more than the required two thirds majority, the warrant article that designates the town-owned parcel of land at 401 State Road for affordable housing.
I respectfully write in opposition to the Oak Bluffs streetscape renewal plan.
The Tisbury School building project needs and deserves the support of all Tisbury voters.

2020

The successful passing of the Coronairus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act last week should bring much needed relief to our Island businesses.

At the moment everyone’s attention is correctly and understandably focused on the coronavirus.

Recently I spent several weeks in the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital and I want to say a huge thank you to my wonderful nurses, staff, and physical therapists.

I have taken minutes for different organizations for most of my adult life.

I walk around our Aquinnah property, clearing debris and limbs of trees half-eaten by ravenous deer.

I am writing to correct the unfounded accusation that the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School’s utilization of Massachusetts General Law Chapter 40, Section 3 is somehow seeking to skirt the necessary review of our project.
