I am writing to thank the West Tisbury voters for passing, with a bit more than the required two thirds majority, the warrant article that designates the town-owned parcel of land at 401 State Road for affordable housing.
I respectfully write in opposition to the Oak Bluffs streetscape renewal plan.
The Tisbury School building project needs and deserves the support of all Tisbury voters.
Cities succeed or fail at street level, that truism matters from island to island, Manhattan to Martha’s Vineyard.

The skyline of the most recent issue of the Vineyard Gazette was a quote from Sly Stone taken from the lyrics of Sly and the Family Stone’s wonderful song Those Summer Days.
