MVYouth has announced more than $1.2 million in expansion grants for the Martha’s Vineyard Museum and Early Childhood Programs at Community Services.

The community fund founded in August 2014 has renewed over ninety per cent of its original founding donors.

Six Martha’s Vineyard seniors will receive four-year college scholarships, the community fund announced this week. The awards total $700,000, and for the first time this year include a charter school graduate.

MVYouth has awarded $542,874 in college scholarships to seven Martha's Vineyard seniors to attend the college of their choice.

Three organizations that serve hundreds of Island youth have received grants totaling $511,000 from MVYouth, a community fund begun two years ago.
