The Edgartown select board Tuesday approved Carlos Teles' liquor license for a new restaurant at the former Sharky's Cantina location.
The Edgartown location of Sharky's Cantina restaurant will close at the end of the year after its lease was not renewed.
The owner of Sharky’s Restaurant is offering $1,000 gift card for information leading to the arrest of a person who made off with a giant woodcarving of a shark, damaging it and then leaving it in a parking lot. Police are investigating the incident.
