After the tinsel and lights have been put back into storage, Christmas trees on the Island are getting a second calling.
Evergreens adorned with twinkling lights, fragrant pine wreaths and festive shop window displays on Edgartown’s Main street are a sure sign of only one thing: Christmas in Edgartown has arrived.

The tree in Healey Square will be lit at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26 with the holiday lights going on in Ocean Park simultaneously. Santa will make an appearance at the tree lighting, arriving by fire truck.
There will be no music show to accompany the Christmas lights in Ocean Park this year.
