One of the last remaining oversized broadsheets (17.5” x 23”) in the nation, the Vineyard Gazette has been serving the Island of Martha’s Vineyard since May 14, 1846. Distinctive, literary and entirely homegrown, the Vineyard Gazette wins top journalism awards year after year, and has been recognized for excellence repeatedly by the New England Newspaper & Press Association.
Now celebrating its 175th anniversary, the newspaper is printed Thursday nights (for distribution Friday) at our offices on Martha’s Vineyard and has never missed an issue. The Vineyard Gazette is available by subscription and also on newsstands throughout the Island. Known far and wide for its eclectic mix of news, information, photography and fine writing, the newspaper has subscribers in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign countries.
