Town of Edgartown

Wastewater Commission Facility Manager $48.72–$64.11

The Town of Edgartown is hiring a Facility Manager to oversee the Wastewater Treatment Facility and Collection System. This key role ensures compliance with DEP Discharge Permits and supports the Town’s goals for efficient, reliable sewer operations. Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, leading capital improvement planning, budgeting, procurement, and preventive maintenance. The position coordinates sludge removal, oversees contractors, administers grants, and ensures regulatory compliance. Additional duties include participating in Commission meetings and assisting the public with permit-related inquiries. Candidates must hold a valid Massachusetts Grade 7 Wastewater Treatment Full Operator’s License and have at least four years of relevant experience.
