MV Community Services Island Counseling Center Program

Is seeking an Administrative Assistant and Administrative Coordinator/Case Manager to join our team.

Administrative Assistant:

Requires experience working in a medical/behavioral health office setting. Requires a high level of discretion, confidentiality, non-judgmental, positive attitude and ability to work competently under pressure. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

High school diploma or equivalent and prior experience as an administrative professional. Bilingual (English/Portuguese) preferred. Administrative Coordinator/Case Manager:

This role is part of our Island Intervention Center and will work with families and individuals in crisis. Requires knowledge of case management principles and implementation of concrete and supportive services. Knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic techniques a plus. Requires high level of discretion and confidentiality; ability to work with multiple client populations and engage with families who are under mental and emotional distress.

High school diploma required and BA in related field preferred. Proficiency in speaking and writing in Portuguese preferred.

The Edgartown Public Library is looking to fill the position of Technology, Reference, and Patron Services Coordinator with a talented and friendly individual seeking a professional, career-path position that provides outstanding customer service to patrons.

The position serves as an information resource to the community, providing reference and research services, readers’ advisory services, as well as support and instruction for the use of the Internet, electronic library resources, computers, and other technology.

Duties include website management, development and execution of all marketing materials including a monthly newsletter, posters, brochures, bookmarks, and online promotions, oversight and management of all public computers and AV equipment, and other administrative tasks. Bachelor’s degree and progressively responsible experience working in libraries or a related field required; Master’s Degree in Library Science preferred. Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered. Experience with automated library systems such as III Sierra strongly preferred. Full-time (35 hours/week) year-round schedule includes evenings and weekends. Wage is $28.92-$38.07 in 8 steps, with full benefits.
