FACILITIES MANAGER

The Harborside Inn has an immediate opening for a facilities manager to join our team. Duties include, but not limited to, maintaining the buildings and grounds, directing staff and overseeing the upkeep of equipment and supplies.

The facilities manager will make sure the buildings and grounds are maintained, which entails daily and weekly cleaning schedules as well as determining and scheduling repairs, renovation projects, opening and closing of the Inn, waste reduction improvements and safety inspections. The Facilities manager will be in charge of a budget and must negotiate with outside vendors for supplies, repairs and other measures.

They must possess the following: Analytical skills, good communication, attention to detail, and leadership skills. Hospitality experience and GC license is a bonus.

JOB SUMMARY: The Tribal Youth Program (TYP) Coordinator is a full-time position which is responsible for the continued development, planning, implementation and supervision of the full spectrum of culturally based youth programs of the Education Department. This position will require weekend and evening hours as well as travel between Martha’s Vineyard and the mainland periodically to be inclusive of Tribal youth. SALARY RANGE: $14.92 - $19.25 per hour PRINCIPAL DUTIES: • Responsible for oversight of the Tribal Youth Program for high school and junior high school students. • Implement and expand programs for all eligible Tribal youth. • Support youth in leadership development and in planning and implementing community service projects. • Coordinate and supervise Youth Group Travel. • Assist in researching, planning and writing funding applications. • Assists in the After School Program and the Summer Turtle Program as needed or assigned. • Perform other duties as assigned which will support the goals and objectives of the Tribal Youth Program. • Must pass a CORI background check and be fingerprinted.
