PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Fiscal Year 2019 Property Tax Allocation and Classification Hearing Town of Oak Bluffs Board of Selectmen

In accordance with the requirements of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40, Section 56, the Board of Selectmen will hold a Fiscal 2019 Property Tax Classification Hearing on November 20, 2018, at 3:30PM in the Oak Bluffs Town Hall Meeting Room (lower level) 56R School Street, Oak Bluffs, MA. The purpose of the public hearing is to decide the percentage of the FY2019 tax levy to be borne by each class of taxable real and personal property and to consider adopting a residential exemption. All persons interested in this determination may appear and be heard at the time and place mentioned above. In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws and Department of Revenue regulations, Assessed Values for 2019 have been adjusted to reflect fair cash value as of January 1, 2018. Will hold a public hearing under the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and the Oak Bluffs General Wetlands Bylaw on a Notice of Intent filed by the Town of Oak Bluffs to remove the existing Harbor Master office and replace it with a new, larger office on the Oak Bluffs Harbor, 30 Circuit Avenue Extension, Map 8, Lot 293. The hearing will take place Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 4:15PM in the Town Hall on School Street. The plans are available for review in the Commission office at the Town Hall.
