Bids will be opened in the Tisbury Public Works Department, 115 High Point Lane, Vineyard Haven, MA. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of CERTIFIED CHECK, or BID BOND issued by a responsible bank or trust company licensed to do business in the State of Massachusetts in the amount of 5% of the total bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days, after the date set for the opening thereof. Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid as determined by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D inclusive. The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G. L. Chapter 149. Tisbury is an affirmative action/equal opportunity purchaser.
