Town of Tisbury

RFQ TISBURY SCHOOL

The Town of Tisbury, through its Owner’s Project Manager (OPM), is issuing a Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) for Construction Manager at Risk Services for the Tisbury School renovation and addition project, located at 40 West William Street, Tisbury, MA 02658. This RFQ is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process as set forth in MGL Chapter 149A. Only those respondents deemed qualified will be invited to submit a Proposal in response to a detailed Request for Proposals (“RFP”) which will be issued in the second phase of the procurement process. • This project is being funded by the Town of Tisbury. The renovated/expanded school will be approx. 74,500 SF and includes construction of temporary classrooms on an adjacent site, demolition of sections of the existing building, complete renovation of 42,500 SF of the existing building, and new construction of 32,000 SF of additions. The estimated total cost of construction is $41M. The estimated construction duration is 26 months. • The project is currently in the Design Development (DD) phase. Immediate CM services will be required through the completion of the DD phase, temporary classrooms construction, and an early demolition and site package. The project will progress through construction contract documents, bidding, and construction.
