Six high school students from Martha’s Vineyard won awards in the Congressional Art Competition. The art competition is sponsored by the Congressional Institute. Students submit entries in several categories to their representative’s office, and a panel of artists from the congressional district serve as judges.
Regional High School student Isabelle Crawford was named best in show. Her photograph of an oak tree in North Tisbury will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol.
