Rumbling thunder provided a backdrop for the fourth annual Featherstone Garden Tea Party and Fashion Show on Saturday afternoon, but underneath the grand white tent, all was sunny and bright. More than 20 volunteer models participated in the fashion show, wearing the warm weather clothes of the season ahead from local boutiques. Guests, as has become the custom, adorned themselves in brightly-colored hats while nibbling on tea sandwiches from Annie Foley and treats created by Cakes by Liz. The tea party serves as a kickoff to the Art of Flowers Show with guest curator Holly Alaimo, which will be open each day from noon to 4 p.m. through Wednesday, May 29.
