Get-well wishes to Edward Fantasia Jr., who was admitted to Children’s Hospital this week. It is anticipated that he will be home over the weekend. Not a way to spend your school vacation week.
Gimili Glavin recently joined her colleague James Shepherd for a film production in Anchorage, Alas. Her two and a half year old son Elliott spent time with her grandmother Pam Glavin in Aquinnah and cruising around with Carl Widdiss.
Congratulations to Christina and Michael on the birth of their daughter Olivia Marie Sims on Feb. 19 in Las Vegas, Nev., thus making Olivia my third great-grandchild.
Chilmark harbor master Dennis Jason celebrated a major milestone on Feb. 24 and how did we manage to let that escape a major celebration?
Happy birthday wishes this week to Cameron Widdiss who will be seven years old on March 1. Jackie Mendez parties on March 2 as will Tiara Jasmine Lee and Joanne Lynn Eccher. Penny Huff will party on March 3. Sharon Spiller will celebrate on March 4 and shares the day with Paul David Sampieri. Charles W. Vanderhoop 3rd will celebrate on March 5 and shares the day with Harold Hopkins. One of my favorite set of twins, David and Doug Seward, will celebrate their special day on March 6 — we have agreed not to make such big fuss about it until our 75th birthdays. Aron Jackson will party on March 7 as will Eddie Drew.
