On Tuesday, April 29, the Martha’s Vineyard Women’s Network will host a breakfast meeting on customer service and sales techniques for success.
The meeting will bring together successful business women to discuss how they’ve used better sales techniques and customer service to build their businesses on the Vineyard.
The meeting, which will be moderated by Bonnie Marcus, owner of Women’s Success Coaching, will feature panel members Judy Federowicz, owner of Coldwell Banker Landmarks Real Estate; Carol McManus, owner of Espresso Love; Elaine Barse, owner of the Green Room; Patricia Wheeler of the Harbor View Hotel and Resort; and Maggie Mae Desorcy, owner of Maggie’s Salon.
They will offer real-life examples of how they’ve learned to work and deal with the Vineyard’s unique atmosphere to create successful businesses. The panel will look at the challenges faced by all segments of Vineyard businesses, from retail to real estate.
The meeting runs from 7 to 9 a.m., with the first 30 minutes for registration and networking. It will be held at the Baylies Room in the Old Whaling Church in Edgartown. The cost for members is $20 and $25 for non-members if registration is received by April 24. On the day of the event, walk-ins pay $30. The meeting is open to both men and women.
