Aquinnah Public Library for Saturday, March 14 at 11 a.m. — Jennifer Christy will read stories to celebrate spring and at 11:30 will assist with art projects to celebrate light.
Dorothy Bangs will again be busy as she sells daffodils for the American Cancer Society. She is expecting more than 12,000 bunches of the bright buds to arrive on the Vineyard on St. Patrick’s Day when the pre-sold flowers will be distributed. On March 18 they will be sold at Cronig’s Market and at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. On March 19 they will be sold at the West Tisbury Post Office and at the Stop & Shop. Please support this very worthy cause. A bunch of daffodils is only $10.

Get well wishes to Kristina Leslie who was admitted to Martha’s Vineyard Hospital on Wednesday, under the care of Dr. Kendall, Dr. Laursen, and Dr. Cater. She anticipates being home by the weekend.
Phil and Penny Weinstein arrived on Saturday from their home in Swarthmore, Pa. for a week of rest and relaxation at their Aquinnah home.
Jesse Wiener and his associates will have a premier of Rock of Ages to be performed on Broadway on March 17. For those of you in Manhattan, please stop in and enjoy.
Condolences to the families of Gerry Correllus, James Marshall Jr., Missy Tinker Howland, and Louise Robinson who have all been a significant part of our Manning family over the decades.
Happy birthday wishes to Ken Wenworth as he celebrates today. Robbie Manning will party on March 14 and shares the day with Todd Araujo, Jay Smalley, and Richard Skidmore.
Dwight Kaeka Jr. will party on March 15, sharing the day with Edmund Silva, Sylvie Delaunay Vandal, and Seth Boynton. As you head to Conroy’s Apothecary on March 15, please wish Tammy Conroy a happy one.
Rodeo Langer, son of Curtis Langer and Molly Purves, will be two years old on March 16 and already has been enjoying learning the games on the computer at his young age. Taylor Ives will also party on March 16 and shares the day with Natalie Francis, and Jada Lee Randolph will be seven years old. Peter Devine will celebrate on March 18.
