My heart and prayers go out to both parents. Such a tradegy. Can not imagine how the parents feel. I'm sure there will be an out pouring of support from the island.

Very sad to hear about Jena this morning. I was her softball coach in Babe Ruth and she was one of the best little peanuts to ever don an A's uniform. I can still clearly see her running towards 3rd base with a huge grin, knowing she should not have been stealing (Learned that from Jackie I am sure)A joy to coach, a good girl I always enjoyed and a good friend to her friends always. Rest in peace hun... we will miss you but will think of you often so you will always be here with us. All I can say is god must have needed an angel and he sure knows how to pick em. See you again some day. Game ball to you forever and always.

Kids,please!!!!slow down...there is no where you have to go in a hurry,that will effect your lives if you are 15 minutes later and safe.

I am deeply saddened for the families of these young ladies. My prayers for strength and comfort are with all of the family members.

What a tragic and senseless accident and this happy graduation weekend is shattered. I'm praying for Jena and Kelly's families to find courage and strength. Parents, hold your children close and make sure to tell them you love them.

As the father of two sons from the graduating classes of 2006 and 2008 I cannot begin to comprehend the overwhelming grief Ms. Pothier's parents must be experiencing or the anguish through which Ms. McCarron's mother must be going. Every trip to the ER with my sons has been traumatic, but they always returned home. As the high school community, students, faculty and families, gathers this weekend, pause to remember these two young women that we may never forget our own children.

I went to school with Jenna at Plymouth State. Though I didn't know her all to well I do do know she was an amazing girl and a great friend. my heart goes out to her family as well as her friends at Plymouth. Her life will always remember by people all over.

I will miss Jena terribly. She trained me on my first day working at the Flying Horses Carousel. She was a great friend, aand a great all around person.

Both my wife, Nancy, and I are deeply saddened by this unfortunate accident. Jena's parents are two of the best people it has been our pleasure to know. Our prayers are with the whole family.

Jenaaa, to be writing this is the hardest things ive ever done, idk where to start or what to say. everytime i think of u i think of the jena/lauren days when it was me and u 24/7. DAvid and Terri, im so sorry i loved ur daughter and im happy to say we were so close, i no its hard but hang in. think of the good times. im trying to laugh as much as possibly about all the stuff she did, you were my jjpopo jpot, jena with one N'a, CHICKEN GREASE i will love u and be thinking of u forever. Kelly! i love u so much and right now i dont no much but i am hearing good things about u each day, speed this recovery up to come see me. THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER babe. LOVE YOU BOTH! and to the families , your in my heart and thoughts always.

David Pothier family,times like these no words can be offered.Believing in something greater than self is the only way I know of to put one foot infront of the other and go on, a strong, good family like yours will survive, your in my prayers daily.

The Pothier's are such an amazing family. I'm more then grateful that i was able to be a part of Jena's life. I love that i can just look into the sky, and see her smile. Please remember to wear your seat belts. Stay strong Terry, David, & DJ, i love you guys!
