The New England Choreographers Project brings together two artists for one show on Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Yard in Chilmark: the theatrical, idiosyncratic and profoundly musical Lise Brody and Nicole Pierce.

Ms. Pierce brings her multi-media dance/theatre company EgoArt to share her ongoing exploration of Mozart’s Requiem, and performs her solo, Bunny, to electronic music. Lise Brody frolics through the Inquisition in Dances About Witches and mines the intricate music of Peter Schickele with her intergenerational dance company, Screech to a Stop.

Then on Tuesday, July 14 at 8 p.m. Rhonda Coullet’s Runaway Beauty Queen (The Lost Pleiad) gets an outing at the Yard. Ever since she was a child, free-spirited Sis knew that her life would be anything but ordinary. In this madcap musical romp, a vivacious team of goddesses takes Sis on an extraordinary journey of self-discovery — from her rural upbringing to being crowned Miss Arkansas, becoming a Broadway star and beyond. Runaway Beauty Queen has been called “a wonky, offbeat and wildly funny musical adventure” and “a Hair for the 21st century.”

Ms. Coullet starred on Broadway in The Robber Bridegroom with Barry Bostwick, and in Pump Boys and Dinettes, and off-Broadway in National Lampoon’s Lemmings with John Belushi and Chevy Chase. She has appeared on Saturday Night Live, where she sang her song West Heaven as a tribute to John Belushi; on the Howard Cosell Show as a Not-for-Prime-Time-Player with Bill Murray; in the cult film Mr. Mike’s Mondo Video with Dan Aykroyd; and she narrated PBS’s The American Experience. Ms. Coullet is featured on National Lampoon comedy albums and has recorded her own album, The American Secret. She sang backup with Cher on Meatloaf’s album Dead Ringer, and performed with Spinal Tap on Saturday Night Live. Her song Bigger Than the Both of Us was a top 40 single for Jimmy Buffett.

The Yard is on Middle Road near Beetlebung Corner in Chilmark. Tickets are $25 general seating, $50 premium, and $15 for seniors and under 30. For details, call 508-645-9662 or see dancetheyard.org.
