The Martha’s Vineyard Garden Club will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, August 18, at 1 p.m. at the Old Mill in West Tisbury. The program, The Native Orchids of Martha’s Vineyard, will be presented by incoming president Kristin Henriksen. She has a degree in landscape design from the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study and is owner-operator of Going Native Nursery in Vineyard Haven, which specializes in native plant landscapes and restoration.

Following the program there will be a hospitality hour with refreshments provided by the members. Admission is free to members, $5 for guests. For details, call 508-627-5546.
