The Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard has a few nice animals who need good homes.

Olivia, the guinea pig, would make a wonderful pet for some child; she has long fluffy brown and white hair.

The cats are Cyrus, our big black neutered male who loves attention and being petted; Itty Bitty, the long-haired Balinese who has become quite sociable and just loves sleeping curled up on top of her cage; Cato, a big black neutered male declawed all around and so friendly (he should be an indoor cat because he has no claws); Nutmeg, a gray and white spayed short-haired cat who used to be a barn cat, very lovable and good with other cats, dogs and children; and our two little bla ck and white feral kittens who will be spayed soon (they have come a long way thanks to our wonderful young volunteers).

We thank all the people who have brought us cleaning supplies but we can use more, especially trash bags, laundry soap and bleach.
