Before you leave the Island for your winter homes, won’t you please stop by the Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard and see all our nice cats who would love to go home with you? They are: Itty Bitty, a gentle Balinese who would make a wonderful lap cat for an older person; Nutmeg. a gray and white female; Cato a big beautiful male, declawed all around so he should be a great indoor pet; Scrunchy, a tortoiseshell female; our two all-black kittens, who will be ready for adoption as soon as they are spayed; and Cyrus, a big black cat, who w ould be a wonderful barn cat. The two Guinea pigs are Olivia and Daisy, verygentle with long silky hair. All cats are spayed or neutered and up to date on all shots.

If you would like to make a donation to the shelter, please send your check to the Dukes County Commision, Box 190, Edgartown, MA. 02539 with a notation that it is for the animal shelter. Remember we depend on your donations to keep us running. We also need 50-gallon and 13-gallon trash bags and other cleaning supplies.
