Erika Field and Gary Ellis Hall were married on June 19 in the library of the Winnetu Oceanside Resort at Katama in Edgartown. The ceremony was performed by Osamu Matsutani, a family friend and father of the maid of honor, from Anchorage, Ala.

The bride is the daughter of Glen and Elizabeth Field of North Dighton and Oak Bluffs. The bridegroom is the son of Ronald and Julia Hall of Black River, N.Y. He is the grandson of Rosemarie Cross of Felts Mills, N.Y.

The maid of honor was Kathleen Matsutani; best man was Ronald Hall. A reception and dancing followed the ceremony at Lure Restaurant in the Winnetu resort.

Wedding flowers — peonies, spray roses, calla lilies and hydrangea — were by Sarah Stock of the Cottage Garden. The cake, vanilla chiffon and butter cream frosting with marscapone cheese and fresh strawberry filling, was by Val’s Cakes. The deejay was Catherine DeGrandpre of The Sound Choice.

A lifelong summer resident of Oak Bluffs, Erika is the director of corporate relations at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston where she has worked for nine years. She holds a degree in art history from Duke University. Gary is a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. He holds an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Rochester and a master’s degree in engineering as well as a master’s in business administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The couple moved into their new home in Malden this summer.
