Cups will runneth over this weekend when COMSOG, the Community Solar Greenhouse located at 114 New York avenue in Oak Bluffs, holds its annual Fall Festival on Sunday, Oct. 4 from noon to 3 p.m.

Each year, the greenhouse invites the Vineyard community to an afternoon of festivity. Island arts and crafts will be on display and available for purchase. Music performed by the Dunkls of the Vineyard Brass Quartet will fill the crisp autumn air, commingling with the scents of freshly prepared foods and baked goods from Vineyard kitchens. There will be hardy home-grown plants and hearty produce on hand to bring home, various demonstrations, hand-knit articles and an endless array of trifles and treasures, also sourced locally (from Vineyard attics.) And of course, soup from Linda Jean’s restaurant, piping hot and always free. Also, festival-goers can enter the raffle for a chance to win special prizes. Festival season is here, and this is one you don’t want to miss.
